The Higher Center of Music of Galicia (CSM Galicia) organizes three appointments in the Area Central shopping center to liven up this upcoming season of family parties. These are three concerts in which the students of the Center will perform pieces of different styles on three different dates.
On December 19 at 6:30 pm the Jazz Orchestra of CSM Galicia will perform. A group of five musicians, led by Alfonso Calvo, a jazz double bass teacher, will perform some of the great classics of the Swing era.
On December 27 at 18:30 the clarinet chamber group of the CSM Galicia, also made up of five musicians coordinated by Javier Morgade, head of studies and clarinet teacher, will offer a selection of compositions from different periods, from classicism to contemporary music.
The last appointment will be on January 3 at 18:30: Turnes and Casquero FEAT Combo of CSM Galicia. The singer and pianist of the Bakin Blues Band will combine his renowned personal style with that of a group of students from the Center.
These concerts are part of the program of activities that the Superior Center of Music of Galicia organizes for its students inside and outside its headquarters. One of the pillars of the philosophy of the Center is the firm commitment to dynamic learning, which involves the participation of students in activities of various kinds, to put into practice all the knowledge acquired during the course and thus contribute to their personal growth and to the promotion of their artistic capacities.
