CSM Galicia is co-directed by two musical conductors
MANUEL VILLAR – PRINCIPAL
The principal of CSM Galicia is currently the principal of the Municipal School and the conductor of Music Band of Valga (Pontevedra). He has a Superior Trumpet Degree at the Superior Conservatory of Santiago, Master in Orchestra Conducting by the University of Valencia, a Higher Diploma in Orchestra and Band Management Cum Laude and a Bachelor in Orchestra and Band Conducting from the Royal Schools of Music. He usually works and collaborates with bands and orchestras of recognized prestige such as the Symphony of Galicia or the RTVE Orchestra and Choir.
If Manuel stands out for something, it is because of his ability to create a relaxed and familiar atmosphere in which musicians make the most of their abilities.
PERE MOLINA – 2nd PRINCIPAL
The second principal of CSM Galicia has conducted some of the most outstanding formations of the international music scene, such as the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica or the counterparts of Cuba, Madrid, Sherbone (England) and a long etcetera. He is entitled in the conservatories Salvador Seguí de Castellón and Joaquín Rodrigo de Valencia, and during his extensive musical career he has worked with great perseverance and enthusiasm to raise the talent of the musicians to whom he has directed and taught.
