OBJETIVE OF THE MASTER CLASS
The objective of the master class is to deepen and complement the flute studies of the attending students, with personalized attention in each case.
On the one hand, it is oriented to improve the technical aspects of the instrument, attending to different levels and ages, and, on the other hand, to delve into the purely musical dimension, focusing attention on the specific repertoire to work, talking about stylistic aspects , phrasing and expression.
It will consist of two individual classes per active student, in which the desired repertoire will be worked, and two group classes, in which mainly technical aspects will be addressed.
Ultimately, the work done in the master class is intended to be a guide for the student rather than an imposition, so that he himself approaches a better use of his intuition.
- Technical aspects of the flute (articulation, use of air, sound, phrasing, fingering, etc.).
- Habits and study technique of the instrument.
- Control of posture and use of the body (breathing, positioning, movement).
- Work on the elements involved in musical phrasing: line, color and expression, adapting them to different styles.
- Musical and analytical notions (style, harmony, structure, etc.).
- Stage presence and body communication; concentration, expression, etc.
