Associate Musicology Professor
Francisco Zacarías Martínez Martínez (Gandía, 1983) studied Trombón (CSM Castellón) and Musicology at the Óscar Esplá Conservatory of Music in Alicante (2014).
In that same year he entered the Master of Musical Heritage taught by the UGR, UNIA and UNIOVI universities.
He has taken numerous courses on Music Production, Composition for Audiovisual Media, Sound Techniques, Finale, etc.
He is currently pursuing a doctorate at the UGR, whose research is on twelve-tone reception in Spain.
NIEVES PASCUAL LEÓN
Guest Musicology Professor
Of Valencian origin, she studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Valencia.
She has a PhD in Music and has been a Professor of Musicology since 2016.
She has collaborated with multiple musical media and has published music articles in the best magazines and forums such as Fontes Artis Musicae, Adarnassum, Journal of 17th Century Music, Anuario Musical, Cuadernos de Investigación Musical UCLM.
She is currently coordinator of Ópera XXI.

Musicology and Etnomusicology Professor
Higher graduate in the specialties of traditional and popular music instruments and ethnomusicoloxy from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo, and Master’s degree in musical heritage from the International University of Andalusia.
She has been part of groups such as Projecto de Foles, Matamá Ensemble or Paínho do Mal Tempo, being awarded in different traditional and folk music contests.
