Jose Vicente Faus Faus is a timpani of the Royal Philharmonic of Galicia, professor at the Escola de Altos Estudos Musicais de Galicia and professor at the Valga Superior Conservatory of Music.

He is a member of the Grupo Taller Atlántico Contemporáneo (TAC) and a member of the Contemporary Music Duo “COLLOQUY” for saxophone and percussion, where they obtained the honorary diploma at the Zaragoza International Music Trophy.
He was a member of the percussion group from Zaragoza “Per-secusión Ensemble” and timpani of the Youth Orchestra of the Valencian Community.

Among the orchestras to which he has been invited are: Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra, City of Oviedo Orchestra, Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra, Castellón Symphony Orchestra, City of Granada Orchestra, Radio Televisión Española Symphony Orchestra, Bilbao Symphony Orchestra , City of Barcelona and National Orchestra of Catalonia, Cadaques Orchestra, Grupo Enigma Zaragoza Orchestra and Oporto Symphony Orchestra.

He has been a professor at the Rioja Professional Conservatory of Music. He has participated as a percussion teacher in the Youth Orchestra of Catalonia (JONC) and the Youth Orchestra of Andalusia (OJA).

Among the different concerts he has performed, it is worth highlighting:

– “The rhythm and the word” Didactic concert, EAEM Percussion Group, Composer: Fernando Buide and Director: Jose Vicente Faus within the season of the Real Filharmonía de Galicia.

– The premiere in Spain of the “Concerto for Flute, Percussion and String Orchestra” Daniel Schnyder with the Real Filharmonía de Galicia.

– The Japanese music concert held at the Santiago de Compostela Professional Conservatory with the Trio: Marie Kobayashi (voice), Claude Delangle (Saxophone) and percussion Jose Vicente Faus.

– Participation in the music cycle of the 20th century in Vitoria – Gasteiz of the saxophone and percussion duo “Colloquy”.

In addition to having taken various masterclasses and percussion courses in Spain.
