Associate Trumpet Professor

Born in Vigo. At 8 years old he is already a winner of prizes and competitions at national and international level.

He regularly performs with renowned orchestras such as the ORTVE, Munich Orchestra, Cannes Philharmonic, Beijing, Kazawa Symphony or Galician Philharmonic.

He has recorded various discs edited by Avex Classics with large orchestras and symphonic bands.

He is currently principal trumpet, teaches master classes and attends different international competitions.

Trumpet Professor 

He studied at the Galician School of Higher Musical Studies. He studied at Musikene and completed a master’s degree at the Amsterdam Conservatory. He belonged to various young orchestras such as ONSG, JONDE or NJO. He collaborated with the orchestras Ciudad de Granada, Bilbao Symphony, Royal Philharmonic of Galicia, Youth Simon Bolivar (Venezuela), Porto Casa da Música Symphony (Portugal), Jalisco Philharmonic (Mexico) and Royal Concertgebouw (Netherlands), among others. He has been a teacher at the Celanova Conservatory and at the Verín Conservatory, director of the Santiago de Arteixo music band and collaborator of the Galician Symphony Orchestra

Horn Associate Professor

He has the title of Professional Degree from the Professional Conservatory of Music Jacinto Guerrero with the highest marks in Horn, Band and Chamber Music for which he receives an Honorable Mention. He continued his higher studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, finishing them at the Conservatory of Music in Vigo. He took Management courses with Enrique García Asensio and Pere Molina González. He is in possession of the Pedagogical Aptitude Course and has also completed the Humanities Degree at the University of Castilla la Mancha.

Trombone Professor

Member of the Palau Les Arts Orchestra and tenor / bass trombone in the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, he belonged to the Navarra Symphony Orchestra, Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, Young National Orchestra of Spain and West-Eastern Divan. He has collaborated with the Orquesta del Teatro “La Fenice” in Venice, the Munich Philharmonic, the Galician Symphony, the Royal Philharmonic of Galicia, the Staatskapelle Berlin, the Barcelona Symphony, the Hong Kong Philharmonic, etc. He teaches courses and recitals at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo, where he studied music, A Coruña, ESMUC and Musikene.

Tuba Professor

He completed higher education in the tuba specialty at the Eduardo Martínez Torner Higher Conservatory of Music and a Master in Interpretation at the Conservatorium van
Amsterdam. Member of the Young Orchestra of the Principality of Asturias (Jospa), of the Young National Orchestra of Spain, of the NJO: Dutch Orchestra and Ensemble Academy and has collaborated with the Simón Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela and the Teresa Carreño Youth Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela . He has more than a dozen awards and has collaborated with numerous bands and orchestras.

Euphonium/Tube Professor 

Bachelor of Music in the Tuba specialty from the Higher Conservatory of Music of the Principality of Asturias, with Honor Registration and End of Degree Award. He has the Professional Title of Tuba with Extraordinary End of Degree Award at the Professional Conservatory of Pontevedra and the Master in Teacher Training for Secondary Education. He has collaborated with the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra, L´arpa Festante Barock Orchestra, Forma Antiqva, Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, among others.

Main Guest Horn Professor

He was born in Santiago de Chile in 1989. He studied at the music institute of the Catholic University of Chile, receiving scholarships such as the Jorge Peña Henn Scholarship or the Amigos del Teatro Municipal Scholarship.

At the age of 19, he won the soloist position in the Chilean Symphony Orchestra. In 2014 Orchestral Academy of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden.

Since 2015 he has been a soloist for the Münchner Philharmoniker.

Main Guest Trombone Professor

Originally from Extremadura, he studied at the Madrid Conservatory and later in Paris.

He has been principal trombone of different orchestras such as the Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra, Orquesta del Gran Teatre del Liceu de Barcelona or Münchner Philharmoniker.

David Rejano Cantero is currently a principal trombone player for the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
